Cash via Western Union FAQ

What does the Western Union form look like?

Western Union forms are very similar from country to country. You need to use the GREEN Quick Cash form. It may also be called a Payment Services or Quick Collect form.

To get all details for the form, please first make a Western Union Payment Request under 'Buying Credits' on the Merchant Center.

Requesting payment details does not commit you to making a payment. You can stop at any time. If the Western Union option does not appear, it may not be available in your country.

An example of a filled out Western Union form can be viewed and printed.

If your Western Union form looks different, please either ask the agent to help you, or scan a blank form and email it to us at merchant@mig33.com. We will show you how to fill it in.

Where can I find a Western Union Agent?

If you would like to locate a Western Union Agent, click this link. Western Union agents may be your local bank, post office, grocery store, news agency, or shop.

NOTE: the link takes you to an external site. If you are using popup blockers, copy and paste this link into a new internet browser: https://www.westernunion.com/info/agentLocator.asp?country=ID

What is a Government Approved Photo ID?

Dirver's License, Passport or Country Identity Card are some common ones. Ensure it is issued by a government, shows your full name, is currently valid (check the expiry date), and has a clear photograph of you, it is likely to be acceptable. You must show the agent a Photo ID to send payment using Western Union.

Are there fees?

Fees are charged by the Agent. For sending money up to USD$3,000 the fee is USD$15. For sending money up to USD$5,000 the fee is USD$25. mig33 will not charge any additional fees for using Western Union.

Can I request Western Union Payment from my mobile phone?

  1. Log into mig33 from your phone, either through the mig33 application or at http://m.mig33.com on your WAP browser.
  2. Go to 'My Account' in the main menu, then 'Recharge'. Select 'Western Union'.
  3. All the information you need to make a request will be provided to you in a few easy steps.

What happens if I make a payment with Western Union and my account is not credited?

Don't worry! sometimes this can happen if there was incorrect information filled out on the Western Union form. We recommend that you keep your receipt as proof of payment. We will use this to trace your payment. Please feel free to email us your receipt number, name and amount to merchant@mig33.com if your account is not credited after 24 hours.

Please note that completing a Western Union payment request online is not enough to get credits added to your mig33 username. You must complete a payment using the green Quick Cash form with a Western Union agent before we can add credits.
